Terms and Conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
It is fully understood and agreed that;
- The client has authorised Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting to enter their property and complete cleaning services as requested.
- Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting relies on the client to provide all accurate information pertaining to surfaces, paint and finishing specifications, the cause of any damage, manufacturers defects, manufacturers requirements and a detailed description of the work to be undertaken.
- The onus is on the client over any chemicals that may affect any surfaces and/or finishings and whereby Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting will not be held responsible.
- Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting cannot guarantee the reversal/removal of stains or pre-existing damage. Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting technicians will assess the area and advise of a likely outcome.
- In the best judgement of Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting, affected areas may be treated with industrial detergents, chemicals and/or microorganisms during the cleaning/treatment process as required to attempt to improve the appearance of the areas. The client agrees to the application of these chemicals and/or microorganisms to the affected areas as considered necessary by Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting.
- It is beyond the expertise of Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting to determine if someone may be sensitive to the application of any agents applied. Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting assume no responsibility in this regard for their use.
- Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting technicians will not move fragile items, electrical equipment or large, heavy items and/or furniture unless pre-arranged and pre-quoted for by Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting.
- Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting equipment is not to be interfered or tampered with by any party whatsoever.
- The client is responsible for any damage, theft or loss to any property belonging to Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting while in their care and custody. Any and all equipment lost or damaged beyond repair will be charged for at the full regular replacement price and damaged equipment which may be repaired, will be repaired at the discretion of Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting with all associated cartage, and repairs charges at the clients cost.
- Wet surfaces may be slippery, extreme care is required when walking on/from wet flooring materials.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring the property is ready for cleaning and anything not to be wet is to be removed prior to Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting arrival. The customer is also responsible for ensuring all exterior electrical components are sealed and safe prior to work commencing. e.g., exterior fuse boxes, lights, light fittings, sensors, and alarms.
- If an event occurs that is beyond the reasonable control of Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting which prevents us from performing the service on or by the date agreed, we will immediately notify the Customer and give an estimate of the time for completion of the service.
- Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting will provide all equipment and all cleaning/treatment materials as may be necessary to perform the service properly and efficiently, other than electricity and water, this will be provided by the customer. Unless otherwise agreed in writing all materials including products supplied will be new and of a high-quality fit for their purpose. All Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting equipment will be safe for use, be properly maintained and capable of being used to carry out the service.
- Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting provide estimates for services based on the information provided either on-site or by the client. Estimates are provided by Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting in good faith based on the information provided by the client however final charges may vary dependent on what services are to be provided prior, during or at the end to ensure the services are completed by Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting satisfactorily and in good faith. The client agrees to pay any additional charges if they request for an Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting technician to clean any additional areas or items not included in the original quote.
- All Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting services are performed on the surface of the area specified, we do not clean underneath decks or balustrades unless requested and quoted for.
- Any charges for services rendered, is the sole responsibility of the client and are to be paid within 7 days of service completion by either cash, bank transfer or Credit Card unless prior arrangement has been made by the client with Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting. Should payment not be made within 7 days of service completion a 15% late payment fee will be applied, the client will indemnify Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting for all costs and expenses incurred while recovering any unpaid monies owing and including but not limited to any debt collection fees.
- It is the client’s duty to report any concerns or complaint to Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting within 48 hours of the service being completed to allow Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting to assess the work that has been done and address any concerns. If the client does not contact Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting within the 48 hours, or prohibits any Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting representative timely access to the clients property for the purpose of assessing and addressing any concerns, that Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting may not be able to remedy the clients concerns, the client agrees to hold Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting harmless in this regard and payment is still required in full.
- In the event that Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting are unable to perform any of their recommended procedures or are restricted in any way from completing any of their treatment, the client agrees to release and hold Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting harmless, and indemnify Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting against any claims or actions that may result from any incomplete procedures.
- Cancellations are to be notified 24 hours prior to the scheduled service date as agreed otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will be applied instantly.
- Any act by the Customer or those legally acting on behalf of the customer which requests Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting to begin performing any services or providing any materials will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting will not be held responsible whatsoever, for any damages, pre-existing damages or any loss incurred while services are undertaken. This includes damage to plants, surfaces, coatings, fabrics, carpets, decking, roofs, etc.
- Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting will not be held responsible for any injury that occurs on-site during or after we have performed a service, clients are required to always stay clear of all equipment as well as a working technician to avoid any injury.
- Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting are not responsible for any pets that may be on-site during a service, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure pets are monitored or alternatively removed from site while services are being undertaken.
- Chalking of paint (if present) may cause streaking during the cleaning process.
- Water intrusion may occur (through joiners, doors, switches, power outlet, light fittings) during the cleaning process.
- Acceptance of any Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting Quote or Job/Service confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Once these Terms and Conditions are accepted, they are irrevocable and cannot be amended without the written consent of Waiheke House Wash and Water Blasting.
- In the event there is more than one party as a Customer to these Terms and Conditions, all Customers will be jointly liable for these Terms and Conditions.
- These terms are subject to change without prior notice.
